Tyler Watson Biography:
Tyler Watson is a doctoral candidate in Environmental Health Sciences at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health where he works on research and programs to better understand and address food insecurity and ensure equitable access to healthy foods. He studies university student food access, urban agriculture, and food recovery in the Los Angeles region, and is the graduate student researcher for the UCLA Food Security Working Group and a UC Global Food Initiative Fellow. His other research interests include public health impacts of climate change, urban design, and higher education health and wellness. Tyler received his BS from UC Santa Barbara and his MPH from UCLA.
